O que acontece se uma estadia linguística for cancelada?
Lingoo’s Cancellation Policy covers a number of scenarios for when a trip is cancelled:
If the Guest cancels before the first day of the stay, Lingoo will consider a refund of up to 50% of the value of the Booking Voucher (and, if applicable, Guest booking fee and Booking admin fee), based on the circumstances of the cancellation, and may advise the Host Family or Teacher to return up to 50% of any deposit paid by the Guest. All cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of 40 euros plus any bank charges.
If the Host Family or Teacher cancels the confirmed stay at any time before the first day of the stay for any reason whatsoever, Lingoo will refund the value of the Booking Voucher (and, if applicable, Guest booking fee and Booking admin fee), less an administrative fee of 40 euros plus any bank charges. We recommend the Host Family or Teacher returns any deposit paid by the Guest in full.
If the homestay has started as scheduled and the Guest interrupts the stay for any reason whatsoever, we offer this advice, depending upon the timing of the interruption:
-If the stay is interrupted with two weeks or less of the stay remaining, the Guest should not be entitled to a refund.
-If the stay is interrupted with two weeks or more of the stay remaining, a proportion of the full payment equivalent to two weeks’ fees can be kept by the Host Family or Teacher.
If the homestay has started as scheduled and Host Family or Teacher interrupts the stay for any reason whatsoever, the Host Family or Teacher should return all money paid by the Guest for the days of the stay that cannot be used.
